We are working on the final phase of complete digitization of our products and services by introducing new Building Automation solutions called Modulo 6. The Internet of Things and iCloud technologies are the backbone of our business

In an over 100 years long history, the SAUTER Group has managed to position itself worldwide as an expert in central monitoring and control systems, as well as the automatic management of individual premises. SAUTER uniquely blends a global perspective with a local presence, and a traditional approach with innovative solutions. The company is known for always bringing innovation to the Building Automation sector. We spoke with Mladen Vukanac, General Manager of Sauter  Building Control, about the company’s operations in Serbia.

What are SAUTER’s plans for the following period?

— We are working on the final phase of complete digitization of our products and services by introducing new Building Automation solutions called Modulo 6. The Internet of Things and iCloud technologies are the backbone of our business. This gives us even more flexibility, which, in turn, gives us the ability to shorten the time we respond to market needs and certainly boosts our competitiveness.

Which Swiss values that you adhere to in the company and are these values recognized by our market?

— Four concepts are always present in our business: constancy, innovations, reliable quality and knowledge. Our market recognizes quality, and if it were not so, Sauter would not have survived this long. The technologies we use in our country are not lagging behind with projects in much more developed EU countries. All our clients think long-term. With such a mindset, Sauter is their logical choice.

What needs to be done in terms of legislation to improve the business climate in order to be closer to the EU?

— To preserve and improve the quality of business operations, we need to have a level playing field. Reducing the shadow economy, boosting competitiveness and same market rules for everyone are essential.
