“St. Lucia Celebration and ABBA Party “held in Belgrade

The Swedish Embassy and Color Media Communications organized the “St. Lucia Celebration and Abba Party “on December 12th at Bitter Art Cafe.

The present guests addressed the Ambassador of Sweden in Serbia, Jan Lundin and President of the Color Press Group, Robert Čoban.

Ambassador Lundin expressed his satisfaction with the celebration of St. Lucia, the traditional Swedish holiday that is celebrated in December, and the celebration of the ABBA group, one of the best-selling and most popular groups in the world.

Čoban said that the reason for the gathering and announcement of the reunion of the ABBA group and the announcement of their tour took place, and “ABBA Real Tribute Band” from Zrenjanin performed at the party.

Prior to the band’s appearance, Lucia performed the choir “Glas NE žice”.

In Sweden, the celebration of Lucia is a tradition that is celebrated in December each year and marks the arrival of light in the dark morning during the winter period of the year. Santa Lucia is a girl who for this holiday with a candle in hand and with the support of her companions, performs traditional Lucia songs and symbolizes this light.

Guests enjoyed Swedish specialties and ABBA band hits in the beautiful ambience of Bitter Art Cafe.
