After Breaking the Guinness Record, the Milicas Jovanović Now Serve as Judges in a Showdown of Japanese Chefs

This November, TV Tokyo from Japan arrived in Belgrade to film the popular entertainment show “Packing Japan into a Suitcase” about Japanese food and flavors

In this episode, professional ramen masters from Japan competed in a “Japanese Ramen Showdown.” Using local ingredients, they prepared two types of traditional Japanese soup “Miso Ramen” and “Tonkotsu Ramen”,  competing to determine which one tasted better.

The judges were the Milicas Jovanović, who broke a Guinness World Record in 2023 when 256 women sharing that name gathered in one place, surpassing the previous record held by the Hirokazu Tanakas, who had gathered 178 members in Tokyo the year before. Since then, the Serbian Milicas Jovanović have become quite popular in Japan.

For that reason, TV Tokyo, during its visit to Belgrade, invited them to appear in “Packing Japan into a Suitcase,” where they took on the role of judges in a competition between Japanese chefs — and also enjoyed the flavors of the famous Miso Ramen and Tonkotsu Ramen.
