Call for startups in the field of automation to win 50 000 EUR prize!

UiPath, one of the leading companies in the field of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) software, calls for startups to take place in UiPath Automation Awards for the second consecutive year. Startups that develop solutions in the field of automation have the opportunity to win one of the two awards. The competition aims to identify new technologies and companies in our region whose solutions can have a global impact and strengthen a broader system of automation solutions. As UiPath partner, Microsoft is an exclusive sponsor of the Start-up category.


The winner in the Start-up category will receive help from UiPath in the areas of sales, marketing, as well as technical support for 12 months. In addition, the winner in this category will receive a cash prize of EUR 50,000, supported by Microsoft


All interested companies can apply at the link until August 30. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on October 28.

The competition has two prize categories: Start-up and Scale-up. One winner will be announced in each of the categories.

The winner in the Start-up category will receive help from UiPath in the areas of sales, marketing, as well as technical support for 12 months. In addition, the winner in this category will receive a cash prize of EUR 50,000, supported by Microsoft. For this category can apply companies with existing teams of two or more people that have minimal viable products for automation and gained a maximum of one million USD funding so far.

The scale-up category is opened for the companies that have team of four or more people and have developed functional automation technology, have minimum three paying customers, and got up to three million USD of funding so far. The award for the winner includes C-level mentoring by UiPath and sales support, including an opportunity to present winning technology to the global clients selected by UiPath, presentation of automation solutions at UiPath Immersion Lab and other UiPath events, as well as UiPath’s channels.

Besides Serbia, startups from Albania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Montenegro, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have the right to participate.

The first competition that took place in 2019 attracted more than 100 start-ups from 16 countries, and the winners were (links): Smart Dreamers, 2019 in Scale-up category (Romania), and Edward.ai, 2019 Start-up Category (Poland).

UiPath has supported the automation launch ecosystem since 2019 through the UiPath Automation Awards – CEE & Turkey Edition with the long-term goal of fostering innovation and rewarding the most promising players in the field of software automation.
