The first meeting of the newly established Slovenian – Serbian business society BASS

Members of BASS (Business Association of Slovenia and Serbia) held the first meeting in the Zemono Castle. BASS was established in February with the aim of becoming a significant support in the integration of economic and entrepreneurial initiatives from Slovenia and Serbia.

Goran Medić, President of the Management Board BASS, and also director of Fructal said: “During my career I have come to the conclusion that we lack certain structures in establishing connections and business cooperation between operators in the region. Therefore, we made BASS” said Medić. The participants were addressed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Slovenia, H E Aleksandar Radovanović, who said: “I am very happy the founding of BASS, because I am convinced that it will significantly contribute to improved economic cooperation between Slovenia and Serbia.” The Management Board of the Association, in addition to the President of the society – Goran Medić, include Tomaž Kavčič, vice president of the Association, known as an innovative Slovenian cook in ” Gostilna pri Lojzetu” at the Zemono Castle, where the headquarters of the Federation and BASS are; and Ursa Manček, the owner of the “Diogenes” Communications with extensive experience in marketing, public relations and event management.
