The Republic of Slovenia’s National Day Marked With Ceremonial Reception in Belgrade

The 34th anniversary of the Republic of Slovenia’s independence, along with Slovenian Armed Forces Day, was marked with a celebratory event at the Metropol Palace Hotel in Belgrade. The occasion brought together a distinguished crowd of diplomats, government representatives, business leaders, and prominent figures from Serbia’s cultural and public spheres.

Statehood Day in Slovenia is normally celebrated on June 25, the day when the Slovenian Parliament passed the fundamental act, the Constitutional Law on the Declaration of Independence, in 1991, which for the first time in history achieved Slovenia’s own statehood.
