Embassy of India in Belgrade celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India on Friday 15th August 2025 in the Chancery premises
Ambassador H.E. Mrs. Shubhdarshini Tripathi hoisted the National Flag, which was followed by singing of the National Anthem. After this, Ambassador read the excerpts of the Address to the Nation by Hon’ble President of India, H.E. Mrs. Draupadi Murmu, delivered on 14th August, 2025.
Since the last three years, the Embassy has been organising a series of events to showcase India’s rich cultural heritage and its glorious history.
On this occasion, the Embassy also organised an exhibition on Indian Freedom fighters and Indian handicraft items. The event was enthusiastically attended by around two hundred (200) members of Indian community, PIOs, and friends of India in Serbia.
