By decree of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation No. 20061, dated September 9, 2025, Dušan Bajatović has been appointed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for a five-year term as Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Novi Sad
His consular district is defined as the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
Bajatović is a long-standing political and economic official, a member of the National Assembly of Serbia, and has led Srbijagas for over a decade (GAS PRESS). During his career, he has developed close business and institutional ties with the Russian Federation, particularly in the energy sector.
