The Day of the Dead is one of the most emblematic traditions of Mexico, recognized by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. This celebration, which predates the arrival of Europeans to the American continent, represents the fusion of indigenous worldviews and colonial heritage, and is a living testimony to the deep respect of the Mexican people for memory, life, and death.
The Embassy of Mexico invites everyone to celebrate life, death, memory, and culture together.
