How do you view the current state of bilateral relations between your country and Serbia?

The state of Czech-Serbian bilateral relations can be described as traditional and friendly — not only since the establishment of the Czech Republic (1993) or the Republic of Serbia (2006). The history of excellent relations in various fields, as well as extensive cooperation in cultural, educational, trade, and economic areas, dates back to the times of former Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia, and even further in our shared history.

Do you expect normalization of the situation in the two major global crisis hotspots — Ukraine and Gaza — by the end of the year?

It would certainly be nice to expect normalization not only in the crisis areas you mentioned — Ukraine and Gaza. That would surely be my wish as well. However, looking at the situation realistically, it currently seems rather unlikely that in the foreseeable future (for instance, by the end of this year) the much-needed compromises for ending these bloody conflicts could be reached.
