A concert in honor of Azerbaijan’s Victory Day was held at the Belgrade Philharmonic
The immediate occasion for this concert was also the 140th anniversary of the birth of Uzeyir Hajibeyli, the founder of Azerbaijani classical music. The guests at the concert were greeted by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, H.E. Kamil Khasiyev.
Victory Day is a national holiday in Azerbaijan, celebrated on November 8 to commemorate Azerbaijan’s victory in the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War in 2020. The holiday was established by a decree of President Ilham Aliyev in December 2020.
