The Museum of African Art in Belgrade had the distinct honor of welcoming Her Royal Highness Olori Adesegun Temitope Enitan-Ogunvusi and the delegation of the Ooni of Ife, His Royal Majesty Ooni Adejejeme Enitan Ogunwusi – Ojaja II

During the visit, Olori Adesegun presented the museum with an official gift: a bronze head of Ori Olokun, an ancient emblem of royal heritage, alongside a piece of contemporary art. The gift serves as a symbolic representation of Nigeria’s rich history and vibrant culture.
The Serbian delegation included Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philip and Princess Danica, Stanko Blagojević, Assistant Minister of Culture, and other representatives from official institutions.

This visit marked a significant cultural event, strengthening the bilateral ties between Serbia and Nigeria, while giving the public in Belgrade a unique opportunity to engage with the heritage of African art.

The visit took place within the framework of the official trip of the Nigerian Royal House of Oduduwa to the Karađorđević royal family.
