Following the U.S. and Indonesia, the innovative educational platform CLEO, from the American EdTech company CheckIT, which enjoys the support of experts from Cambridge International Education, is arriving in Serbia

At the American Resource Center in Belgrade, the CLEO platform was officially launched – the most advanced AI- and neuroscience-supported educational system, already implemented in educational institutions in the U.S. and Indonesia. This event marks the beginning of a transformation in education in Serbia and the region – an education that does not just follow change but drives it.

Developed together with educators worldwide, CLEO was created by the American EdTech company CheckIT Labs, which has chosen Serbia as its European headquarters. Developed in collaboration with global technology leaders such as Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, and Gemini AI, the system uses cutting-edge AI technologies and neuroscience to enable students, teachers, professors, schools, and universities to experience learning and teaching that is more efficient, personalized, and measurably better.
The event opened with the words: “Education is no longer preparation for the future. Education is the future,” emphasizing that now is the right time for educational institutions to become places where technology understands how the brain learns.

CLEO, the heart of the CheckIT Labs system, functions as a digital mentor that monitors how students learn, identifies where they lose focus, and recommends real-time learning strategies that enhance understanding, memory, and motivation. For teachers, CLEO acts as an assistant, reducing administrative tasks and helping design lessons aligned with how individual brains best absorb knowledge. Parents gain real-time insight into their child’s progress, while schools receive a system that improves outcomes, competitiveness, and community trust.
Speakers at the event included Nivedita Bose from Cambridge International Education, Dr. Svetlana Belić Malinić, Director of the “Education for Serbia” Foundation, Dragan Tanasković, Head of European Development at CheckIT Labs, with the discussion moderated by Marija Bjelopetrović, Director of the American Resource Center. Speakers emphasized that a system like CLEO is no longer optional but essential in a time when children are learning for a world that changes daily.

“The world is changing faster than education can keep up. CLEO changes that forever. CheckIT Labs is positioned to be a key system in transforming education, as it combines the best of education, neuroscience, and technology into a unique solution that delivers rapid improvement, transparency, and optimization to schools, educators, students, and parents,” said Dragan Tanasković, Head of European Development at CheckIT Labs.
With CLEO, Serbia is not just catching up but setting the pace for the future of education in the region and Europe.
“Imagine Serbia in 10 years, where every child learns in their own way, reaches their full potential, and enters the Fifth Industrial Revolution ready to conquer the world. This is not a dream. This is neuro-education,” said Dr. Svetlana Belić Malinić, Director of the “Education for Serbia” Foundation.

CheckIT Labs also announced a program to sponsor 150 Cambridge certifications in 2026, aimed at developing educators in modern pedagogy, digital technologies, neuroscience, and AI application in education, as well as a donation to the “Education for Serbia” Foundation for the operation of the EDUKA school worth €100,000, including: the platform, AI models for personalized teaching, training, support, and maintenance.
“Innovations of this kind, based on neuroscience and modern technologies, are key to the global transformation of education,” said Nivedita Bose from Cambridge International Education.
