3rd International Wind Orchestra Festival in Novi Sad: The Power of Tradition and Sound

Novi Sad will host the 3rd International Wind Orchestra Festival on December 7, a manifestation that brings together the finest ensembles from the region and affirms the rich tradition of wind music in this area

The program will take place at the Archives of Vojvodina, where the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the concert segment, while participants will expand their knowledge through specialized educational lectures.

The concert program will feature performances by: the Wind Orchestra from Subotica, the Mining Music Ensemble Kakanj, the Wind Orchestra from Senta, and the “23 October” Wind Orchestra from Novi Sad.

In addition to the rich musical program, the festival also includes an educational segment intended for all participants, with the aim of enhancing their musical practice. Professor Rajan Bolozan will deliver a lecture titled “Ensemble Warm-Up Techniques and Breathing Exercises”, while Professor Tibor Maša will speak on the topic “Wind Orchestras in Our Region”, reflecting on the history, development, and contemporary challenges of this musical tradition.

As an event that brings together experience, knowledge, and regional cooperation, the festival once again brings to Novi Sad a spirit of unity and exceptional musical interpretation.
