Breast cancer is the most common form of malignancy among women in Serbia. Every year, thousands of women face this diagnosis, and many lose their lives because the disease was detected in its late stages.

However, there is hope: breast cancer, when detected early, can in the vast majority of cases be successfully treated and cured. With this goal, the HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation, in cooperation with the Institute of Public Health of Serbia “Dr Milan Jovanović Batut” and under the patronage of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, is organizing the national campaign “Detect Early, Save a Life!” throughout October.

The campaign is part of the global fight against breast cancer, with the mission to raise awareness, encourage prevention, and provide women across Serbia with access to free screenings.
