The Tolerance Project: Exhibition Opening at Kalemegdan on Thursday, September 18 at Noon

The United Nations in Serbia and the Council of Europe Office in Belgrade are organizing the exhibition “The Tolerance Project – A Traveling Poster Show”, a global art initiative launched and curated by Mirko Ilić, featuring more than 200 designers from over 40 countries

The exhibition will open on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Sava Promenade at the Belgrade Fortress in Kalemegdan.

Speakers at the opening will include Matilde Mordt, UN Resident Coordinator in Serbia; Janoš Babić, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Belgrade; and Borut Vild, designer and one of the exhibition contributors.

The exhibition is part of the “Tolerance” campaign, jointly implemented by the United Nations in Serbia and the Council of Europe Office in Belgrade. It is dedicated to promoting inclusion and countering hate speech through art, education, and public dialogue. The exhibition will be open to the public until the end of September.
