VODAVODA proudly supports the 50th anniversary of the “Professor Aleksandar Nikolić” Academic Basketball Camp, also known as “Zlatibor Basket”

This anniversary marks a significant moment in the continuous development of young talents and the promotion of sports values based on respect, togetherness and perseverance. On the occasion of the jubilee, on June 13, an exhibition was opened in O3ONE Art Space, which sheds light on the history of the camp and its key role in the development of regional basketball through archives, photos and memories.

This jubilee was marked with the support of VODAVODA, naturally mineral artesian water that springs from a depth of 605 meters. As a long-term partner of basketball in Serbia, VODAVODA believes in family values, which are the foundation of all great sporting achievements. VODAVODA proudly stands by this camp not only as a long-term partner of basketball in Serbia, but also as a company that firmly believes in the true, family values on which the sport itself is based – respect, perseverance, togetherness and team spirit. Her support for this basketball camp, as well as the Basketball Association of Serbia, reminds us that true success is built on solid foundations, just as water is necessary for the strength and endurance of every athlete.

Through more than half a century of existence, the camp hosted more than 20 national coaches and numerous legends of Yugoslav and Serbian basketball, among them Aleksandar Nikolić, Ranko Žeravica, Božidar Maljković, Svetislav Pešić, Željko Obradović and many others. The first steps were taken in Zlatibor by later celebrated national team players such as Saša Đorđević, Dejan Bodiroga, Saša Danilović, Haris Brkić.

In addition to superior sports knowledge, the camp also fosters values that shape strong personalities and champions on the field and in life. PLUMBING reminds us that true success grows from the ground up, just as water provides strength and endurance to every athlete. WATER – from the heart of nature, for sportsmanship and future champions.
