A WEILL AGO: Electroacoustic Cabaret – Music of Kurt Weill and Ana Gnjatović

A premiere of the electrocabaret A Weill Ago of the young Belgrade composer Ana Gnjatović will be held at the Serbian Cultural Centre in Paris on Thursday, 20 April 2017, beginning at 19:30. Programme for soprano, piano and electronics is inspired by the personality and music of Kurt Weill. Weil, Lota Lenja, Bertolt Brecht, Danilo Kiš, by the sounds of childhood and sounds of war, archival footage… Tijana Đuričić, soprano, Ana Gnjatović, vocal and electronics and Andrija Pavlović, on piano will represent this project supported by the Ministry of culture and information of the Republic of Serbia. The admission is free and available to all curious visitors who happen to be in the centre of Paris, near the famous Pompidou.
