At the Agro-Logistic Forum in Moldova presented potentials and challenges of river infrastructure in Serbia

The Delegation of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (UN FAO) and the Association of Wheat Serbia participated at the Agro-Logistics Forum “Dnieper-Danube-Black Sea”, which is being held in Chisinau from 18 to 19 October 2017.

Study visit and presentation of the Serbian delegation was carried out within the project “Improving the Export of Cereals and Oilseeds”, implemented in Serbia by the UN FAO and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The forum was opened by FAO experts who presented a global review and analysis of the grain and oilseeds market in the 2017/18 season. According to Miloš Milovanović, FAO Managers and EBRD Projects in Serbia “High quality grain and multi-annual growth of exported non-GMO cereals and oilseeds from Serbia, as well as the possibility of transporting from the Black Sea to the North Sea thanks to the Pan-European Corridor VII, are certainly a great incentive for investing in warehouse and logistics facilities on the Danube.”
