To show respect and gratitude to doctors, medical staff, volunteers and all those who are in the front line of defence against COVID-19, Generali Osiguranje Srbija joined the support program of the Government of the Republic of Serbia “For our heroes”.
The personalised card “Our Hero“ offers special benefits to those employed or volunteers in the COVID-19 system, such as discounts when paying for goods and services at partner companies and entrepreneurs. Also, the personalised cardholder has an advantage when exercising his or her rights or receiving services at state institutions, public companies, local self-governments and institutions of social care, and at companies that perform activities of general interest.
Generali Osiguranje Srbija to all owners of cards “Our hero” provides the following benefits:
- free travel insurance for a period of one year within which it secured 15 days, the insured sum of 30,000 euros and the territorial coverage of the whole world without the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan;
- 30% discount on travel insurance for all members of the immediate families (spouses and children);
- 30% discount on household insurance;
- 20% discount on comprehensive insurance;
- special discounts on all life insurance policies
All owners of the “Our Hero” card who are interested in one of the insurances within the action should apply by filling out the form on the website of Generali Osiguranje Srbija and the insurance agent will contact them as soon as possible. The insurance policy can also be concluded by going to the nearest branch of the company.

In 2020, Generali Osiguranje Srbija donated 100,000 euros to the “Vatreno oko” laboratory, to the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the disinfection tunnel in KBC Bežanijska kosa and the ECG device to KBC Zemun and the General Hospital Šabac and thus showed its readiness to support the work of health care institutions in Serbia in a difficult situation.
The support program “For Our Heroes” was initiated by the Government of the Republic of Serbia and is implemented by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, in association with the Secretariat General of the Serbian government, the National Bank of Serbia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and public institutions, with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
