On the occasion of 110 years since the birth of one of the most important painters in the region, Petar Lubarda, Canvas Gallery in collaboration with Vladimir Vasić organised the exhibition “Lubarda – Fragments of the sixth decade” which opened on Thursday 11 May 2017 at 19h in the gallery Canvas, Kosovska 16 , Belgrade.
The exhibition includes 17 works of different formats and techniques, created in the period from 1949 to 1958. With beads of smaller size, may be trimmed exhibition of three capital works – Skadarsko reservoir, Battle at Vučji Dol and Souvenir du taureau, and as a special rarity thre is Kosovo battle in oil and the colour of frescos in the plaster. The exhibited works from private collections, some of which have never been shown to the public. The exhibition will last a month.
