Ready to go back to school with Imlek

Imlek met all children of school age from the first to the eighth grade from the Shelter for children, as well as from the Center for protection of infants, children and youth “Zvecanska”, in the new school year. All students without parental care from the territory of Belgrade have received Moja Kravica ranch with scissors, pergolas, pencils, as well as Moja Kravica milk packets with products.

Marija Malović, Regional Public Relations Manager of Imlek, wished her lucky return to school benches and said: “We wanted to make our students happy with the beginning of a new school year, as we have been doing for years, and Moja Kravica gifts now have reached the hands of children which means every form of attention is very important. We hope that their school supplies will help them master the material, while in the breaks they will enjoy our products. Imlek takes care of children without parental care through various donations for years, as well as organizing celebrations for holidays such as New Year’s and Christmas. This donation is just one of many that Imlek provides support to the youngest, seeking to provide them with a safe environment and a healthy growing up. ”

The donation was attended by Deputy Mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesić, and stated: “The maturity of a society is reflected in the look of institutions that care about the most vulnerable categories of the population. Children without parental care certainly belong to this group, while the Center for the Protection of Infants, Children and Youth, better known as Zvecanska, cares about almost 530 males. About 380 employees are taking care of them, and today the company “Imlek”, with which the City cooperates perfectly, donated school supplies for all children attending elementary school. In this way, the situation in which they are located will be somewhat facilitated. In the past three years, the city of Belgrade invested about 10 million dinars in this center and we will continue to invest not only with budgetary funds, but also through the help of socially responsible companies. We owe a great gratitude to the employees of the Center, because the work they do can not be adequately compensated by money. This job can only be done with great love, and this is the only way to help these children survive the extremely difficult period in which they are. On behalf of the City of Belgrade, I thank the Imlek company for the donation, and I invite other companies to act and join us in the next actions of this type. I want their children from the Center for the Protection of Infants, Children and Youth who attend school, to successfully complete their education and after that become valuable members of our society.”

City Secretary for Social Protection Nataša Stanisavljević said: “I am extremely pleased that besides us and others wish to help the children of the shelters of the protection centers and therefore I owe the gratitude to the company Imlek, which constantly supports us. Also, I am glad that the fact that Imlek, in addition to its market orientation, finds a way for social responsibility, which greatly contributes to the overall well-being of our community. The smiles of these little kids say the best, and we believe that they will now be further motivated to learn and that their Moja Kravica notebooks will be full of good grades.”
