“SCHWEPPES MIXOLOGY” BARTENDER CONTEST HELD

We have the best cocktail master in 2019!

This year again, the SCHWEPPES Mixology 2019 has gathered the best local bartenders, who have bravely invented new cocktails and taste combos. The second contest of passionate bartending lovers included 19 candidates and, according to a selection jury, the first award was won by Miloš Janković, followed by Zoran Budimirović at the second and Stefan Ćirković at the third place.

In addition to the pre-defined Schweppes aromas, the finalists also used another 5 approved ingredients in various combinations, all in order to make their cocktails innovative and unique. A commission has summed up rankings of three selection juries, who have rated preparation technique and performance, presentation and communication with audience, as well as visual elements, smell and taste of cocktails.

”Twenty young people, masters in their profession, have expressed an exceptional skill and talent, as well as great efforts they invest in becoming the best and providing guests with a memorable experience. For more than a half a century, Coca-Cola in Serbia has been contributing to the market development, and this contest is an excellent example of specific improvement of the HoReCa sector – said Bojana Nenadović, Marketing Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Serbia, who has granted awards to this year’s winner of the contest.

”I am delighted with the overall organisation and I am full of positive impressions. To win tonight in a tough competition of top-class cocktail masters is a huge recognition for me. The Schweppes Mixology has been another great opportunity for all of us bartenders to further advance our skill of cocktail mixing from a creative and technical aspect” – said the contest winner, Miloš Janković.

At a party that followed after the SCHWEPPES Mixology 2019 final, celebrities Marija Kilibarda and Boško Jakovljević have mixed cocktails for all guests, and the entire sales revenue has been allocated to the “Lice ulice“ project, supporting members of marginalised and vulnerable social groups.
