VOJVOĐANSKA BANKA PRESENTED THE FIRST SUMMARY OF SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS

Vojvođanska Banka presented a Report that measured the overall contribution to sustainable business for 2016 in a transparent and comparable way.

In this way, it was ranked in only 11 companies in Serbia with this practice. The Bank is the first financial institution in our country that has formed the Corporate Social Responsibility Sector and one of the few in Serbia that has included this important area in a long-term business strategy. By adopting and accepting this kind of commitment, according to Marinos Vathis, President of the Executive Board, Vojvodjanska Bank expressed the desire not to observe the activities of improving the living conditions and the community in which it operates, in addition to striving for economic progress. “I am pleased that the report, presented today, reflects Vojvodina’s commitment to sustainable business and represents a contribution to a sustainable future” said Michel Saint-Lot, UNICEF Director in Serbia. At the event, the film “Responsible in Culture” was also shown on cooperation with the Gallery of Matica Srpska, within which the Vojvodjanska banka entrusted this important institution with the list, processing and cataloguing of its 600 works of the most important national painters, while the project itself and cooperation with the Bank and Dr. Tijana Palkovljević Bugarski, Director of the Gallery.
