Members of the Taste Awards by Metro jury visited yesterday the restaurant Thyme StreetCuisine & Breakfast in Zemun, whose chef and co-owner, Nikola Rosić, won this prestigious award in 2023 for Best Chef Under 30
Lazar Svrkota, a chef from the same team working at another restaurant from this chain — Thyme StreetCuisine & Cocktails — received the same award in 2024. Clearly, these guys know their craft.
The Thyme StreetFood culinary concept was founded in September 2022 by three young, passionate chefs. Today, they also run the Indian restaurant Thyme Indian StreetFood, which the jury plans to visit as part of the 2025 competition.
“The fact that two years in a row young chefs from this team are receiving awards speaks volumes about the level of care taken here when it comes to both food quality and service. Everyone is smiling, nothing is too much for them, the food comes out quickly, it’s delicious, and I’m already looking forward to visiting your Indian restaurant!” said Duška Jovanić, President of the Jury.
