AFA Talent Development Forum in 3D environment powered by Ikea is created as a unique event aiming to connect various stakeholders and raise important topics regarding talents of today and tomorrow.
The objective of establishing such event, that will be organized on an annual basis, is to gather relevant community to work around challenges young people, companies and overall societies are facing due to rapidly changing needs of economy and imperfections of education and labor market.
The central topic of the AFA Talent Development Forum 2021 will be “Talent paradox”. On one hand, there is an increasing “war for talents” (McKinsey’s coinage) as companies are utilizing different strategies to attract the best talents, while on the other hand, there is a “waste of talent” due to inefficient and ineffective recruitment and retainment practices, but also education system. If we do not use our talents in the best possible way, we will face even larger brain drain, a need to import talents and poorer economy results.
AFA Talent Development Forum on June 10th at 10am will gather as many as 60 speakers including eminent business experts, university professors, ambassadors, representatives of state institutions, NGOs, extracurricular educators. Besides them, perspective students and talents who study in Serbia and abroad will also take part in discussions.
