The National Day od Austria was celebrated by a ceremony organised by Austrian Ambassador H E Johannes Eigner in the City Hall.
Austria commemorates 26 October 1956 when the country obliged to perpetual neutrality thus obtaining full sovereignity once again. The national anthems were performed by a Town Female Choir Barilli from Požarevac, a town which contibuted to Austria population a lot. Among many guests there were Episcop of Austria and Switzerland Andrej, singer Ivana Jordan and Vuk Drašković.
