Conference “GREEN SERBIA” on July 13 in Belgrade

Color Media Communications organises the traditional annual conference “SERBIA GOES GREEN” dedicated to environmental protection and the preservation of the nature that surrounds us, on July 13, 2023, starting at 10:00 a.m. in the Crystal Hall of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Belgrade (Milentija Popovića 5, Belgrade)

Calls and warnings that we must save the planet come from everywhere, from international organizations, heads of state, non-governmental organizations and concerned individuals. The battle has never been more difficult, but at the same time the creativity and innovation of solutions that are accessible and that preserve nature are available more than ever. Serbia has big plans in this area, increasing investments for green transformation, especially in the areas of decarbonization (reduction from fossil fuels), reduction of air, water and soil pollution, further development of the circular economy, as well as biodiversity protection. These are exactly the topics we will cover in the upcoming conference.

At the conference, we will also talk about challenges and reporting in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, examples of good energy efficiency practices, how smart technology is used to preserve the environment, which are environmentally conscious companies in the world and in our country, we will find out which companies have environmental protection, improving society and management in the focus of business…etc.

At the opening of the conference, will speak:

  • Dubravka Djedović, Minister of Mining and Energy in the Government of the Republic of Serbia
  • H.E. Emanuele Giaufret, Ambassador and Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia
  • Tatjana Matić, director of the Fund for the Development of the Republic of Serbia

After the official opening, there were three panel discussions with the following topics:

  1. Focus on ESG – Environment, society, and management at the center of business
  2. Planet First – Projects and actions that protect the environment of future generations
  3. Sustainable development in Serbia – challenges, reporting and business in accordance with the principles of sustainable development
