Generali Osiguranje Serbia has launched new travel insurance that includes COVID-19 coverage, i.e. a medical treatment up to the maximum insured amount, as well as free online consultation with a doctor and free household insurance during a stay abroad.
“Today, it is more important than ever for people to travel as safely as possible. That is why we have decided to create a product that is designed based on the experience and comments of our clients and health institutions abroad, with the view of covering all possible scenarios caused by COVID-19. I believe that our new COVID-19 coverage will ensure that our clients travel safely as much as possible. Furthermore, I am confident that the doctor’s support will be of great help to our clients, which they can get for free in the Serbian language if they encounter any difficulties during their trip. To put in place all prerequisites for a relaxed, well-deserved vacation, we have provided clients with free insurance of their home during the holidays, “said Veselin Danilovac, a member of the executive board of Generali Osiguranje Serbia, on the occasion of the new product launch.
From June 10, 2021, Generali Serbia will provide COVID-19 coverage for clients who purchase a travel insurance policy, which includes all diagnostic costs, testing on the recommendation of an authorized doctor, quarantine only on the recommendation of an authorized doctor, return to the country of residence, hospital treatment, the cost of outpatient medication and one follow-up examination.
In addition, if they experience any difficulties during the trip, clients will have free online consultations with the doctors of the assistant company Europ Assistance. Clients can also call the consultant doctor via a landline.
And that’s not all! In addition to the aforementioned benefits, clients will also receive free household insurance during their stay abroad. This benefit has become an integral part of travel insurance products.
