NLB GROUP DOUBLED ITS PROFIT IN 2017

In 2017, NLB Group realized a profit of 225 million euros, which is twice as high as in 2016, when the group’s profit amounted to 110 million euros.

All member banks have contributed to its profit, including NLB Bank Belgrade, which generated profit of EUR 3.8 million in 2017. “The Supervisory Board is satisfied with the results, which are the best in the history of the NLB Group. We want to congratulate the management and all employees, their efforts and dedication. We are pleased with the progress in digitization, rationalization and modernization of processes and services, which confirms that the whole NLB Group has accepted technological development and digitization as a new opportunity for future growth. Both the bank and the whole group played an important role in generating innovative, advanced and simple solutions for clients in their local markets,” said NLB Group Chairman Primož Karpe, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NLB Bank in Ljubljana.
