Republika Srpska wants more business

In Belgrade on the 10th of September, the representatives of the Republika Srpska and the Serbian Private Equity Association (SPEA) held a conference entitled ” Republika Srpska – open for business.” At the meeting, which was organised within the framework of the “Days of Srpska in Serbia,” the Government of the Republika Srpska delegation, headed by the president Željka Cvijanović, presented the investment environment in the Republika Srpska.

She stressed that Srpska thanks to its stimulative tax policy, natural resources and geographical position, is the preferred destination for foreign investment. “The comparative advantages of Srpska is reflected in the liberalised legislative framework, which ensures due legal certainty to foreign investors, and foreign trade agreements provided access to a market of almost 600 million potential customers,” said Cvijanović. Srpska’s Prime Minister said that such events were a good opportunity to send a message that Srpska is a good place to invest and that it created a stimulating business environment for investors.
