On the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Slovenia, the celebration was held in the restaurant Top of the Hub in Belgrade on 27th of June.
The Statehood Day is celebrated on the day when, 25 years ago, the Parliament of the Republic of Slovenia adopted the Declaration of Independence. During the reception, Slovenian Ambassador H E Vladimir Gašparič, delivered a speech where he stated that Slovenia had 75% of GDP increase during the last 25 years, largely due to it EU-orientation. The reception was visited by various dignitaries, members of diplomatic corps and business and cultural community, as well as famous Slovenians living in Serbia, like Miroslav Lazanski.
