The first conference organized by the Renewable Energy Sources Association will be held on September 15, 2021. at the Metropol Hotel.
The conference is organized with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), with the institutional support of the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia.
The conference will be organized as a series of panel discussions dedicated to the most important topics such as energy transition in Serbia and the region, achieved results by 2020 and goals for 2030 and 2040, new investments and technologies, integration of renewable energy sources into the electricity market, introduction auction premium model, as well as all the challenges and obstacles that the energy transition process brings. In addition to standard energy and investment topics, the conference will be an opportunity to promote the Green Women’s Network, as an internal body of RES Serbia formed to promote inclusiveness and gender equality in the green energy industry, as well as to promote young people involved in renewable energy sources.
In addition to officials from the Ministry of Mining and Energy and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, participation in the conference was confirmed by top officials from WindEurope, the Energy Community, officials from provincial institutions and public companies, representatives of major investors in Serbia and the region, consultants, bankers and lawyers. A detailed program of the conference under the working title “RES Serbia 2021” will be available in the coming period on the website www.oie.rs and social networks.
The intention of the Association is to make the conference an annual, traditional, national and regional gathering of the most important participants in the green energy industry.
