Serbian Association of Managers (SAM) will host meetings of the largest European organisation of managers, CEC European Managers, which will hold its General Assembly meeting and a seminar on the future of Europe in Belgrade, on May 20-21.

As the youngest CEC member, SAM will have a unique opportunity to host more 30 leading European managers, who will exchange experience with the most prominent Serbian managers.
At the European level, CEC is one of six partner organisations from various sectors, recognised by the European Commission and with the membership of around one million managers in Europe through its national and sector federations.

The event will also serve as an opportunity for CEC and its members, as well as for representatives of the Serbian society, to exchange opinions on the vision of the European Union’s future.
Participants will discuss the long-term future key challenges the EU has to face and in particular its social dimension.
SAM President Stanka Pejanović will hold a keynote speech and participate in a panel scheduled for the second day of the event.
Other speakers at the seminar in the “Saint Ten” Hotel include H.E. the Romanian Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia, Dr. Oana-Cristina Popa, who will be delivering the position of the Romanian Presidency of the European Union, Suzana Grubjesic, Secretary General of European Movement Serbia, Ludger Ramme, President of CEC European Managers, and François Hommeril, President of CFE-CGC, the French confederation of professional and managerial staff.
More than ever, CEC aims to direct attention to the protection of the unique political project of EU and its adaptation to future challenges. CEC highlights the need for an updated European Parliament resolution on managerial prerogatives and includes sustainable leadership, lifelong learning and gender equality among the cornerstones of an evolving profession.
