The partnership between the domestic company Adriatec and the American Honeywell was presented

As a part of marking 23 years of successful business, the domestic company Adriatec, in cooperation with the multinational company Honeywell USA, organized AdriaTECH day, where new integrated technological and software solutions in the field of fire protection for facilities of various purposes were presented

The visitors were addressed by representatives of companies as well as officials of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and representatives of the diplomatic corps and the wider business community.

The founder and president of the Adriatec, Technosector and Technosigma companies, Dejan Ilić, presented the business results and emphasized the importance of the partnership with the American company: “Our long-term collaboration with Honeywell means that we are recognized as a company with potential, but also that we nurture the same values. We expect that with the new distribution program, we will be extremely successful in the market of Serbia and the region. We do all this because we believe that the future is promising and bright for us. We are a team that connects domestic intelligence and world technology.”

Emphasizing the importance of modern technology in the protection of young people in educational systems, the Assistant Minister of Education for Pupil and Student Standards, Mr. Milutin Đurović, pointed out that significant investments of the Ministry’s funds are devoted to investment maintenance projects of facilities in the field of education, which includes, among other things, investment in protection systems from fire. “We are always interested in getting to know new technological and software solutions in the field of fire protection that can save time and money and at the same time raise the level of protection of people and buildings,” emphasized Mr. Đurović.

Rachel Duran, economic attaché of the American Embassy in Belgrade, emphasized the importance of the American-Serbian bilateral economic cooperation and congratulated Adriatec and Honeywell for their long-term partnership. She added that Serbia is a favorite business and investment location with huge potential for cooperation in mutual interest.

“Digitalization is changing the value chain of people’s fire protection and the way these systems work in a facility. Our goal is to provide solutions that help move from event detection to event prevention, as well as increase efficiency and productivity through integrated systems and processes, especially in a challenging work environment. Thanks to our long-term partner and distributor, Adriatec, domestic professionals will have access to these latest technologies,” said Mihai Brana, Commercial Leader for Southeast Europe of Honeywell Fire and PA/VA

After the opening remarks, visitors had the opportunity to learn about the latest Honeywell products for fire protection of people for commercial facilities, including those that can meet the needs of specific areas, such as:

  • education – CLSS, WiFi, Intevio
  • infrastructure – Variodyn 1, linear heat detection, lithium-ion control
  • healthcare – MMS, gas detection, advanced detection
