Ambassador of Egypt in Belgrade discusses with the Minister of Youth and Sports of Serbia a memorandum of cooperation

Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovičić received Ambassador of Egypt in Belgrade Amr Aljowaily. The two officials reaffirmed their aspiration to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of youth and sports, in follow up to the talks held by the Minister Udovičić at his participation, as an Envoy of the President of Serbia, in the Youth Forum in Sharm El-Sheikh last November. “We discussed launching new programs this year to mark the 110th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries” said Aljowaily, highlighting that efforts were now underway for the speedy completion of the draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministries of Youth and Sports of Egypt and Serbia.

The Ambassador of Egypt to Serbia said that “we concurred on the feasibility of cooperation in the field of youth, including through reciprocal visits between university students from Egypt and Serbia, covering the various provinces and cities in both countries. The two officials also discussed cooperation in sports, including through friendly games, training camps and exchange of trainers.
