BRITISH MIDDLE SCHOOLS WINNERS OF THE EUROPEAN FINAL IN BELGRADE


The algorithmic bicycle cat’s eyes, which with speed reduction, show a stronger light as a sign to other road users, have secured a victory for the student company SureLight from the UK at the European competition of the best student companies held in Belgrade.

Second place went to the Italian company Okelvin, who introduced photo-chromatographic labels for food and drinks that indicate the ideal temperature for consuming, while chocolates containing crickets from domestic breeding brought the third place to Bugman’s Best “From Finland. During three days of competition in Belgrade, high school students from 37 countries gathered in 39 student companies presented their innovative products and services to the public through four phases of the competition, and they were judged by panel panel consisting of 30 representatives of the world’s largest companies. The student company is the educational programme of the world network Junior Achievement which enables high school students to gain experience of running their own company, with real products and services.
