After signing a guarantee agreement with the European Investment Fund (EIF) in May 2017, UniCredit Bank started approving investment loans and working capital credits to small and medium-sized enterprises in the total amount of EUR 100 million.
Thanks to EIF’s support through the COSME programme, UniCredit Bank has the ability to support a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises in Serbia by offering them not only more favourable lending terms, but also reduced collateral requirements and a longer repayment period. The Ministry of Economy is in charge of coordinating activities under the COSME programme, with the aim of contributing to better promotion of entrepreneurship, facilitating access to finance and improving the internationalization and competitiveness of small and medium enterprises.
