The sixth Green Town Jazz Fest will be held on 24th and 25th June at the renovated Koste Trifkovića Square in Sombor, organised by the Cultural Centre “Laza Kostić” in Sombor and the “Bowling Stones” Beerhouse.
On Friday, 24th of June, the festival will opened by a youth jazz big band Little Giant Steps from Sombor, founded last year.Then the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the performance of The Hat Matters, and then Novi Sad Quantum Field band. At the end of the first night of the festival, the Aleksandar Dujin Orchestra & Vanja Matić Manić will perform with a programme based on the French jazz. The second night of the festival, on Saturday, a high school band from Sombor called Long Play will get on stage, followed by the Milan Petrović Quartet, while the festival will be closed by the Vlada Maričić Quartet, one of our affirmed jazz artists. Admission to all concerts is free.
