Telekom Serbia awarded the prize for the best mobile applications teams that participated in this year’s competition MTS app for the sixth time.
The jury was composed of representatives of Telekom Serbia and partner organizations SEE ICT, and it had a serious task to narrow the competition of 21 applications selected and choose the best ones standing out for their functionality, originality of idea, and the autonomy in the development and innovation, and social responsibility. The winner was the team “Nevermore” from Computer Gymnasium Belgrade and applications “WalkieTalkie” which will be awarded a trip to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It allows its users to use their mobile phones as a walkie-talkie, across the LAN or mobile hotspot, in situations and places where the mobile phone cannot be used in the usual way. The MTS app competition involved 12 schools in Serbia that worked by the special school programme for math and computer gymnasium.
