The largest distribution company celebrates 20 years in business: Neregelia expanding to logistics sector

Neregelia Company, which is a leader in the distribution market of Montenegro, celebrates 20 years in business. The largest distribution company in the country, which has 26 principals and an annual turnover of 62 million euros in the year of jubilee plans to expand to the logistics sector, in cooperation with Montenomaks C & L. Neregelia distributes products of leading international companies in the consumer goods and pharmaceutical businesses, such as Procter & Gamble, Mars, Philip Morris, Mondelez, SC Johnson, Sebapharma, Neoplanta, etc.

“Neregelia started its journey 20 years ago with only 4 employees. Today, the company employs nearly 200 people, and the value of the assets is estimated at around 20 million euros. We continue to expand our business areas and this year we are planning a strategic partnership with Montenomaks, which at this stage includes the exchange of knowledge and expansion of capacity” said the executive director of Lilja Pižurica, who has led the company since 2008. The company Montenomaks C & L says: “The company Montenomaks C & L since its founding in 1999 until today has continuously worked towards the rounding process of service of the complete care of the goods the customer, from the moment of taking over all customs procedures, to submit them to your destination. Today, we are a leader in the business of logistics and freight forwarding in Montenegro with 140 employees and a turnover of over 4 million. We are confident that we will, with a strategic partner – Nelt group, have even better results and position itself as a respectable regional company” said CEO Radovan Radulović.

Neregelia is a part of Nelt Group, an organisational system that operates in the Western Balkans, but also in the market of Africa, Angola, Zambia and Mozambique. “Nelt is an international business group whose 3,800 employees create value with their professionalism and dedicated work. In 2016, we have in all markets cumulatively generated almost 900 million euros of turnover. Montenegro is very important market for us and through modernisation, investment and diversification of businesses we are striving to ensure stability and longevity of our business operations here” said the Executive Director of Nelt Group Miloš Jelić.

During 20 years of existence, Neregelia has become recognised for its corporate social responsibility. For ten years it has been the partner of Podgorica Marathon, and helped talented students in collaboration with several eminent faculties. This jubilee will mark the expansion of cooperation with the community, and the company announced projects in the health sector, which will have a focus on helping children.
