Serbia is still one of the countries interesting for our business. But, we have to consider that other extra-UE Countries are offering better conditions

Since entering the market, the volume of work in AUNDE SRB has grown, as well as the number of employees. As Annino De Venezia, General Manager AUNDE SRB d.o.o. said in his interview for the magazine Diplomacy&Commerce, a positive social impact is very important. From 750 workers, while 76% are women, and for 7 years they delivered more than 140 children.

What has changed in the Serbian market, but also in the company AUNDE SRB since its founding in 2015 until today?

The Serbian market is important because we developed some suppliers due to the fact that transport cost has an important impact. In other words, the Serbian suppliers are welcome to cooperate with us.

AUNDE SRB produces car seat covers. Apart from Fiat, which other companies do you cooperate with and which car models do you equip?

AUNDE SRB is one of the youngest manufacturing Plant of the AUNDE Group. We arrived in Serbia to supply Johnson Control (now Adient Serbia) the seat cover for the model Fiat 500L. After a few years, we got new projects: Fiat Ducato, Mercedes Sprinter, Iveco Daily, Peg Perego (seat covers for children), Iveco Stralis, Fiat 500 Full Electric.

Since entering the market, the volume of work has grown, as well as the number of employees. How many employees does the company have today? Most of the employees in the company are women? What is it that sets AUNDE SRB apart as an employer?

This is a very important question. Currently, we have cca. 750 workers, while 76% are women. In this number 53 women are constantly on maternity leave. In 7 years our workers delivered more than 140 children. Is this a positive social impact? I think it is and demonstrates the importance of labour-intensive Companies, like AUNDE SRB, have in Serbia.

What are the further plans and projects of AUNDA SRB?

Serbia is still one of the countries interesting for our business. But, we have to consider that other extra-UE Countries are offering better conditions. In order to continue our business, we need to keep under control all the costs. We must do it to make sure that AUNDE SRB will continue to be the principal actor in our segment of the business.

In 1899, the textile weaving mill of Conrad Ebels and Victor Achter laid the foundation for the company which is known today as AUNDE. Starting in 1920, the company began to specialize in the development and manufacture of upholstery and innovative textiles for the burgeoning automotive industry. Along with its automotive clients, AUNDE continued to develop and evolve and, today, we offer a variety of solutions from a single source: Bespoke designs, technical conception and the delivery of technical textiles and upholstery materials with all the relevant certifications.

AUNDE SRB opened in 2015, operates under the AUNDE Group and is 100% owned by AUNDE Italia Group, a member of the AUNDE Group. When the company announced its plans to build a new plant in Jagodina, it received support from the local and state government.
