Addiko bank donates 2 million dinars to Torlak institute

Addiko bank donated a sum of 2 million dinars to institute for virology, vaccines and serums “Torlak” which will be used for procurement of necessary laboratory equipment, in order to increase the number of daily Covid-19 tests in Serbia as much as possible.

We are fully aware of the importance that a national institution, with an international reputation, such as Torlak has on the public health, especially in these extraordinary circumstances due to Covid-19 pandemic which affects the lives of all Serbian citizens. Time is of the essence and one of the key measures to contain the quick spread of the virus is to have as many tests and data analysis as possible. We would like offer our contribution in this fight which affects us all. It is very important that we act concisely, unified and that each individual behaves responsibly within their community. As a bank, we show our support this way to the wider society in which we operate.“ Vojislav Lazarevic, CEO of Addiko bank, said.

Due to state of emergency, Addiko bank took all precautionary measures which were adopted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Local branches are strictly following all prescribed sanitation measures towards clients and employees. All employees who are able to work from home have done so since the first day of the state of emergency.
