BAT donated valuable equipment for working people with disabilities

British American Tobacco (BAT), the largest British investor in Serbia, at the initiative of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Pirot (UOPKP) donated to the company “Pirotex Triko”, which deals with the integration of people with disabilities in four municipalities of the Pirot district, an interactive board – iBoard, for equipping a cabinet intended for the implementation of professional rehabilitation and work training of these persons.

The donation was delivered by Dragan Penezić, Public Relations Manager and Milan Bjelanović, Human Resources Manager at BAT. On that occasion, the Centre for Training for Vocational Rehabilitation and Vocational Training for Persons with Disabilities in the premises of the company “Pirotex Triko” was ceremoniously opened, and the director Marija Simonović Milošević gave thanks to the representatives of BAT for a valuable donation and the President of UOPKP, Dr. Dragan Kostić, to support this action at the local level. – We are very pleased that we have contributed to improving the inclusion of people with disabilities, their employment and professional development, said Dragan Penezić, Manager of Public Relations.
