The Italian singer and composer Mario Biondi held two concerts entitled “Up close and very personal” at the packed Bitef Art Café in Belgrade on 9th and 10th of March.
The 45-year-old Biondi, known as the Italian Barry White, presented his latest album “Beyond” published in 2015. This was his second time in Belgrade, after the successful performance in front of the Belgrade audience in summer 2014 at the Musicology Festival.
His incredible timbre of voice is often compared to the great names of the soul and jazz scene: Barry White, Isaac Hayes, Al Jarreau and Lou Rawls. In his prosperous carrier, Biondi has performed alongside great musicians such as Ray Charles, Franco Califano, Chaka Khan, James Taylor, FredBongusto.
The two concerts that took place at the Bitef Art Café were supported by the Italian Institute of Culture in Belgrade.
