28. Jun support in the Covid-19 crisis

As COVID-19 continues to impact our daily lives, helping the less fortunate remains our top priority. We’ve been hard at work easing the suffering of those most impacted during these uncertain times.

Our volunteers have worked around the clock on several projects:

– Within 24 hours of its release, we translated and distributed the handbook for COVID-19 prevention and treatment, from a hospital in China with 0% mortality, from English to Serbian. Nearly 200,000 medical personnel have read it since its release. More: https://28jun.org/28-jun-delivers-covid-19-manual-to-150000-health-workers-in-72-hours/

– We created a ‘data center’ for Serbs stuck abroad due to COVID-19 and shared our information with Serbian embassies around the world. We continue to provide emergency assistance to people stuck in remote locations with medicine, accommodation, etc. More: https://28jun.org/28-jun-serbs-stuck-abroad-data-center/

– We are working hard with the ‘Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia’ to import over 100,000 protective equipment items including N95 respirator masks, gowns, gloves and eye protective goggles, to help curb the pandemic in Serbia.
