CEO of Telenor Serbia became the Foreign Investors Council President

The Foreign Investors Council announced changes in its management. Mike Michel, Telenor Serbia CEO, is the newly elected President of the Foreign Investors Council, while the new FIC Vice President – substitute is VIP Mobile CEO Dejan Turk and Roche General Manager Ana Govedarica is new FIC Vice President spokesperson. At the same time, FIC will continue to pursue the same policy of advocating for simplified and more favourable business conditions.

Mike Michel has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Telenor Serbia, effective as of October 8, 2018. Before joining Telenor Serbia, Michel was Chief Marketing Officer of mobile operator Banglalink, Bangladesh. In his previous roles, he also served as Chief Marketing Officer in Telenor Hungary and Vice President for Brand in Telenor Group, Norway. Michel has over 20 years of leadership experience in global telecommunication companies in CEE region, North America and Asia.

As the new FIC President, he succeeded Market Head – Nestlé South East Market Yana Mikhailova, who leaves Serbia to take new responsibilities within Nestlé Group. The FIC Board of Directors extends gratitude to Yana Mikhailova for her strategic guidance and valuable contribution to FIC work during all these years.
The FIC Board of Directors has one new representative: Marian Marinov, Nestlé South East Market Head of Finance & Control. Other members of the Board of Directors include: Belgrade airport d.o.o. CEO Francois Berisot, Ernst&Young d.o.o. Managing Partner and Head of Tax Ivan Rakic, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Regional Director for Western Balkans Zsuzsanna Hargitai, European Investment Bank (EIB) Head of Regional Representation for the Western Balkans Dubravka Negre, FCA Serbia d.o.o. CEO Silvia Vernetti – Blina, G4S Secure Solutions d.o.o. Managing Director Aleksander Dawid Sold, Corporate Affairs and Communications Director at JTI Adriatica Goran Pekez, Raiffeisen banka a.d. Beograd Chairman of the Managing Board Zoran Petrovic, and SGS Beograd Managing Director Marinko Ukropina.
