DDOR Novi Sad organized a gathering of media representatives and the Olympians

The Olympic Committee of Serbia and DDOR Novi Sad, the official insurance company of the Olympic Committee and the Olympic team of Serbia, organized on February 20, 2020, a gathering of media representatives and the Olympians who will represent our country at the Tokyo Olympics, which will be held from July 24 to August 9 this year.

Shooter Zorana Arunović, swimmers Caba Siladji and Velimir Stjepanović, basketball player Dušan Bulut and shot putter Armin Sinančević spoke with sports journalists about the upcoming Olympic Games, their plans, preparations and competitions, as well as about non-sport related topics.

On behalf of DDOR, the official insurance company of the Olympic Committee and the Olympic team of Serbia, Mr Giorgio Marchegiani, Chairman of the Executive Board of DDOR Osiguranje, addressed the athletes and media representatives by saying: “It is a great pleasure to be among the chosen ones who made it to the Tokyo Olympics, the gathering of the world’s best athletes. In addition to an innovative approach to business, DDOR Osiguranje, a member of the strong Italian group of companies, Unipol Group, is also recognized for its corporate social responsibility. It is precisely the values ​​that we share with the Olympic Committee that make this cooperation so natural. Our company is preparing a series of activities for the entire Olympic year, which will make the journey to Tokyo more interesting for its clients and the entire Serbian public. We are proud of our Olympians and wish them much success in the coming period. ”

Božidar Maljković spoke on behalf of the Serbian Olympic Committee and used the opportunity to thank DDOR on its support for Serbian athletes during the ongoing Olympic cycle. He also said the following to the media: „It is only with your support that we can present our athletes as true heroes and the best ambassadors of Serbia, which they certainly are. This is the right way to create an atmosphere of genuine support for our team, ahead of Tokyo.” Serbian Olympic shooter, Zorana Arunović, addressed the media on behalf of the athletes: “On our way to the Olympic Games in Tokyo, the largest sporting event in the world, we, athletes and you, media representatives, are both fulfilling our tasks. It is up to us to enrich your reporting with excellence and the best possible results, and it is up to you to convey this to the citizens of Serbia and, as with any previous Olympic cycle, for both of us to make them happy and to present our country in the best light. ”

Currently, the Serbian Olympic team has 62 members/athletes representing different sports – women’s basketball team (12 members), men’s water polo team (11), women’s volleyball team (12), athletics (2), kayaking (2), swimming (4), wrestling (3), archery (5), rowing (2), taekwondo (2), 3×3 basketball (4) and table tennis (3).

The 32nd Summer Olympics will be held in Tokyo (Japan) from July 24 to August 9, 2020.

At this year’s Tourism Fair in Belgrade, DDOR Osiguranje paid special attention to the design of its booth, which resembled the Olympic stadium in Japan and a cherry tree in bloom. At the gathering with the Olympians and media representatives, DDOR presented a brand new insurance sales website – moj.ddor.rs, which they had the opportunity to test
