No Walls or Wires Exist Between Croatia and Serbia

Gordan Markotić, Ambassador of Croatia to Serbia, shares his experience of the migrant crisis

We had a difficult situation when the migrant crisis started. Some 510,000 refugees have traversed Croatia. It all started on 6th September and the wave of refugees has not stopped since then. Refugees are transported by train and we are trying to accommodate them as comfortably as we can, so that they do not have to walk and do not freeze. We register them in Slavonski Brod and then take them to Slovenia, where they continue on to Germany. Germany is a country which receives an enormous number of refugees, the vast majority of them in fact.
