Greater French investments in 2018


The French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce held its annual General Assembly last Tuesday. The Assembly voted eight new members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber.

Five members have extended their mandates for the next two years, namely: Carlos de Cordoue (Credit Agricole), Milan Lukić (Saint Gobain), Ana Marić (Marić-Mališić-Dostanić), Emmanuel Koenig (PricewaterhouseCoopers) and Olivier Si Tahar (Holiday Inn Express). The following members will join them this year: Miodrag Jelić (Lesaffre), Jérome Lautier (MK Resort), Philippe Thiel (Suez). Activities, reports and planned budget for the current year were presented by the president Dragoljub Damljanović and general manager Sanja Ivanić. The members of CCIF were addressed by the Head of the Economic Department of the French Embassy in Serbia, Jean-Pierre Gastaud, speaking about the French investments in Serbia, the arrival of new companies, and announced the business forum France-Balkans, which will be held in Belgrade from May 31 to June 1. It was also announced the formation of the “France Team Balkans” team whose role will be to help the French companies to operate in the territory of the Balkans.
